Subtitles that can be switched on and off in multiple languages. These can easily be uploaded to your YouTube or Vimeo videos, DVD or Blu-Ray.
When localising and translating videos (whether you choose subtitling or voice over), you’ll find that often there are several elements that need to be localised. These elements can be on-screen graphics, text and/or captions.
Our expert project managers will review the video or project file and advise which elements would be best subtitled or graphically edited. If you do not have the project files, worry not; one of our expert editors will be able to re-create the graphics, captions and titles of your video.
Our expert editors work with a multitude of software: to localise graphics we use Photoshop or Illustrator; and After Effects and Final Cut Pro to create motion graphics and visual effects.
Once all elements are in the video, and the graphic elements have been created and localised, we can then rebuild the video and export it to whichever format and codec you need.
We’ll prepare your video project for any platform, including PAL, NTSC, VOD, the Internet, smartphones, game consoles, mp3 players and tablets.
With our facilities and highly skilled operators, your videos are in safe hands!

Portuguese (português or, in full, língua portuguesa) is a Romance language and the sole official language of Portugal, Brazil, Mozambique, Angola, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissauand São Tomé and Príncipe. It also has co-official language status in Macau and East Timor. As the result of expansion during colonial times, a cultural presence of Portuguese and Portuguese creole speakers are also found in Goa, Damanand Diu in India; in Batticaloa on the east coast of Sri Lanka, in the Indonesian island of Flores, and in Malacca in Malaysia.
Portuguese is a part of the Ibero-Romance groupthat evolved from several dialects of Vulgar Latinin the medieval Kingdom of Galicia. With approximately 215 to 220 million native speakers and 260 million total speakers, Portuguese is usually listed as the fifth most natively spoken language, the third most spoken European language in terms of native speakers and a major language of the Southern Hemisphere. It is also the most spoken language in South America and the second most spoken in Latin America afterSpanish, and is an official language of theEuropean Union and Mercosul.
Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes once called Portuguese “the sweet and gracious language” and Spanish playwright Lope de Vega referred to it as “sweet”, while the Brazilian writer Olavo Bilacpoetically described it as “a última flor do Lácio, inculta e bela” (the last flower of Latium, rustic and beautiful). Portuguese is also termed “the language of Camões”, after one of the greatest literary figures in the Portuguese language, Luís Vaz de Camões.
In March 2006, the Museum of the Portuguese Language, an interactive museum about the Portuguese language, was founded in São Paulo, Brazil, the city with the greatest number of Portuguese language speakers in the world. The Museum is the first of its kind in the world.
Modern Standard European Portuguese (português padrão) is based on the Portuguese spoken in the area including and surrounding the cities of Coimbra and Lisbon, in central Portugal, while modern Standard Brazilian Portuguese (português neutro) is based on the Portuguese spoken in the area including and surrounding the city of Rio de Janeiro, in southeastern Brazil, which if vanished from its stereotypical traits i.e. its strong European flavor in phonology and prosody, is linguistically a halfway between Brazilian dialects and accents. Standard European Portuguese is also the preferred standard by the Portuguese-speaking African countries. As such, and despite the fact that its speakers are dispersed around the world, Portuguese has only two dialects used for learning: the European and the Brazilian.
