Let’s get started!
The most important consideration when selecting a translation agency to handle your Norwegian translation is trust. Only professional translators whose native language is Norwegian carry out our English to Norwegian translations. Here’s why you should choose us:
We also offer high-quality translation from Norwegian to English with a quick turnaround. We make sure that all information and nuances are properly communicated.
Thanks to our native English translators who are not only linguists and language enthusiasts, but also carry expertise in specialist subjects such as law, marketing, business, economics, physics, medicine, IT and more.
With our expertise in re-versioning audio and video content, we can help you access new markets and promote your content. You will receive a comprehensive, cost-effective, and trouble-free video translation service. We can do everything from transcribing, translating, and voicing a video, to creating Norwegian subtitles and artistically modifying captions or on-screen text for a foreign language version of your film.
Subtitles occur on the screen as text in reaction to the characters’ speech or dialogue. They are typically used to transform media into a language that the audience can comprehend. If subtitles are not accurate to the spoken word on screen, the viewers’ understanding of the content can be negatively impacted. Precisely created subtitles, on the other hand, enhance the value of your video content.
That’s why we have professional linguists in place to create subtitles for your film or other video content. Our team consists of both local and foreign resources to ensure that every uttered word in another language is correctly translated.
We provide Norwegian transcription services for your audio and video files. If required, we can also arrange for that French transcription to be translated into over 600 different languages. You can rest assured that your Norwegian transcriptions are returned on time and with our guarantee of quality.

Norwegian (norsk) is a North Germanic language spoken primarily in Norway, where it is the official language. Together with Swedish and Danish, Norwegian forms a continuum of more or less mutually intelligible local and regional variants (see Danish language). These Scandinavian languages together with the Faroese language and Icelandic language, as well as some extinct languages, constitute the North Germanic languages (also called Scandinavian languages). Faroese and Icelandic are hardly mutually intelligible with Norwegian in their spoken form, because continental Scandinavian has diverged from them.
As established by law and governmental policy, there are two official forms of written Norwegian – Bokmål (literally “book language”) and Nynorsk (literally “new Norwegian”). The Norwegian Language Council is responsible for regulating the two forms, and recommends the terms “Norwegian Bokmål” and “Norwegian Nynorsk” in English. Two other written forms without official status also exist: Riksmål (“national language”), which is to a large extent the same language as Bokmål, but somewhat closer to the Danish language, is regulated by the Norwegian Academy, which translates it as “Standard Norwegian”. Høgnorsk (“High Norwegian”) is a more purist form of Nynorsk that rejects most spelling reforms from the 20th century, but is not widely used.
There is no officially sanctioned standard of spoken Norwegian, and most Norwegians speak their own dialect in all circumstances. The sociolect of the urban upper and middle class in East Norway can be regarded as a de facto spoken standard for Bokmål because it adopted many characteristics from Danish when Norway was under Danish rule. This so-called standard østnorsk (“Standard Eastern Norwegian”) is the form generally taught to foreign students. Norwegian is one of the working languages of the Nordic Council. Under the Nordic Language Convention, citizens of the Nordic countries who speak Norwegian have the opportunity to use their native language when interacting with official bodies in other Nordic countries without being liable to any interpretation or translation costs.
Norwegian, a North Germanic language, holds a significant place in the global linguistic landscape. Spoken by around 5 million people in Norway, it also serves as a communication tool for Norwegian communities around the world. With its unique dialects, rich cultural heritage, and thriving economy, the Norwegian language has gained prominence in various industries, including film, television, and multimedia. To bridge linguistic gaps and enable effective communication, voice over, translation, and subtitling services play a pivotal role.
Voice over services offer a compelling solution to convey Norwegian content to a broader audience. Whether it’s dubbing films, TV shows, or multimedia presentations, skilled voice actors bring the original content to life by matching their delivery with the intended emotions and nuances. Norwegian voice over artists, with their expertise in pronunciation, accent, and intonation, ensure that the message resonates with the target audience while maintaining cultural authenticity. By providing a seamless transition from the source language to Norwegian, voice over services help break language barriers and engage viewers in an immersive experience.
Translation services contribute immensely to the accessibility and global reach of Norwegian content. Skilled translators adept in both the source and target languages capture the essence of the original message and convey it accurately in Norwegian. Whether it’s translating documents, marketing materials, or websites, these professionals employ their linguistic prowess to ensure that the intended meaning is preserved. A well-executed Norwegian translation allows businesses to expand their presence in Norway, enabling them to connect with Norwegian speakers and tap into the country’s vibrant market.
In an increasingly interconnected world, subtitling services have become indispensable for the audiovisual industry. Subtitles provide a way to make Norwegian content accessible to a wider audience by translating spoken words into written text. Subtitling involves not only linguistic skills but also a deep understanding of cultural context, timing, and readability. Professional subtitlers meticulously synchronize the text with the audio, ensuring that the subtitles are accurate, concise, and easy to read. This enables viewers who are not proficient in Norwegian to enjoy Norwegian films, documentaries, and online videos while following the storyline and capturing the nuances of the language.
The demand for Norwegian voice over, translation, and subtitling services continues to grow as businesses, organizations, and individuals seek to communicate effectively in a global context. Whether it’s the entertainment industry aiming to captivate international audiences, multinational corporations expanding their operations in Norway, or individuals wishing to bridge linguistic gaps, these language services play a vital role in facilitating cross-cultural communication.
To meet this demand, numerous language service providers offer professional Norwegian voice over, translation, and subtitling services. These providers collaborate with a diverse network of native-speaking professionals who possess the linguistic skills, cultural knowledge, and technical expertise required to deliver high-quality results. By leveraging these language services, businesses and individuals can connect with Norwegian speakers, enhance their brand presence, and ensure effective communication across borders.
In conclusion, the Norwegian language holds immense significance in global communication. Voice over, translation, and subtitling services act as powerful tools that enable businesses, organizations, and individuals to effectively convey their messages in Norwegian, breaking language barriers and fostering cross-cultural connections. As the demand for Norwegian language services continues to grow, language service providers stand ready to facilitate seamless communication and unlock the potential of the Norwegian language on a global scale.
