Let’s get started!
The most important consideration when selecting a translation agency to handle your Hausa translation is trust. Only professional translators whose native language is Hausa carry out our English to Hausa translations. Here’s why you should choose us:
GoLocalise is proud to provide a comprehensive Hausa translation service, specialising in audio and video content and tailored to our clients’ needs
We also offer high-quality translation from Hausa to English with a quick turnaround. We make sure that all information and nuances are properly communicated.
Thanks to our native English translators who are not only linguists and language enthusiasts, but also carry expertise in specialist subjects such as law, marketing, business, economics, physics, medicine, IT and more.
With our expertise in re-versioning audio and video content, we can help you access new markets and promote your content. You will receive a comprehensive, cost-effective, and trouble-free video translation service. We can do everything from transcribing, translating, and voicing a video, to creating Hausa subtitles and artistically modifying captions or on-screen text for a foreign language version of your film.
Subtitles occur on the screen as text in reaction to the characters’ speech or dialogue. They are typically used to transform media into a language that the audience can comprehend. If subtitles are not accurate to the spoken word on screen, the viewers’ understanding of the content can be negatively impacted. Precisely created subtitles, on the other hand, enhance the value of your video content.
That’s why we have professional linguists in place to create subtitles for your film or other video content. Our team consists of both local and foreign resources to ensure that every uttered word in another language is correctly translated.
We provide Hausa transcription services for your audio and video files. If required, we can also arrange for that French transcription to be translated into over 600 different languages. You can rest assured that your Hausa transcriptions are returned on time and with our guarantee of quality.

Hausa is the Chadic language with the largest number of speakers, spoken as a first language by about 25 million people, and as a second language by about 18 million more. Hausa belongs to the West Chadic languages subgroup of the Chadic languages group, which in turn is part of the Afro-Asiatic language family. Native speakers of Hausa, the Hausa people are mostly to be found in the African country of Niger and in the north of Nigeria, but the language is used as a trade language across a much larger swathe of West Africa (Benin, Ghana, Cameroon, Togo, Cote d’Ivoire etc.), Central Africa and western Sudan, (Chad, Central African Republic, Sudan, Equitorial Guinea), particularly amongst Muslims. Radio stations like BBC, Radio France Internationale, China Radio International, Voice of Russia, Voice of America, Deutsche Welle, and IRIB broadcast in Hausa. It is taught at universities in Africa and around the world. Hausa people > There is a large and growing printed literature in Hausa, which includes novels, poetry, plays, instruction in Islamic practice, books on development issues, newspapers, news magazines, and technical academic works. Radio and television broadcasting in Hausa is ubiquitous in northern Nigeria and Niger, and radio stations in Cameroon have regular Hausa broadcasts, as do international broadcasters such as the BBC, VOA, Deutsche Welle, Radio Moscow, Radio Beijing, RFI France, IRIB Iran, and others. Hausa is used as the language of instruction at the elementary level in schools in northern Nigeria, and Hausa is available as course of study in northern Nigerian universities. Besides, several high degrees (masters and phd) are offered in Hausa in various universities in the UK, US and Germany. Hausa is also being used in various social media networks around the world. Hausa ranks as one of the world’s major languages, and it has widespread use in a number of countries of West Africa. Hausa’s rich poetry, prose, and musical literature, is increasingly available in print and in audio and video recordings. The study of Hausa provides an informative entry into the culture of Islamic West Africa. Throughout West Africa, there is a strong connection between Hausa and Islam. The influence of the Hausa language on the languages of many non-Hausa Muslim peoples in West African is readily apparent. Likewise, many Hausa cultural practices, including such overt features as dress and food, are shared by other Muslim communities. Because of the dominant position which Hausa language and culture have long held, the study of Hausa provides crucial background for other areas such as West African history, politics (particularly in Nigeria and Niger), gender studies, commerce, and the arts.
