Let’s get started!
The most important consideration when selecting a translation agency to handle your Maithili translation is trust. Only professional translators whose native language is Maithili carry out our English to Maithili translations. Here’s why you should choose us:
We also offer high-quality translation from Maithili to English with a quick turnaround. We make sure that all information and nuances are properly communicated.
Thanks to our native English translators who are not only linguists and language enthusiasts, but also carry expertise in specialist subjects such as law, marketing, business, economics, physics, medicine, IT and more.
With our expertise in re-versioning audio and video content, we can help you access new markets and promote your content. You will receive a comprehensive, cost-effective, and trouble-free video translation service. We can do everything from transcribing, translating, and voicing a video, to creating Maithili subtitles and artistically modifying captions or on-screen text for a foreign language version of your film.
Subtitles occur on the screen as text in reaction to the characters’ speech or dialogue. They are typically used to transform media into a language that the audience can comprehend. If subtitles are not accurate to the spoken word on screen, the viewers’ understanding of the content can be negatively impacted. Precisely created subtitles, on the other hand, enhance the value of your video content.
That’s why we have professional linguists in place to create subtitles for your film or other video content. Our team consists of both local and foreign resources to ensure that every uttered word in another language is correctly translated.
We provide Maithili transcription services for your audio and video files. If required, we can also arrange for that French transcription to be translated into over 600 different languages. You can rest assured that your Maithili transcriptions are returned on time and with our guarantee of quality.

Maithili language is spoken in the eastern part of India, mainly in Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of West Bengal, with cultural and linguistic centers in the cities of Madhubani and Darbhanga. Maithili is also spoken in the Terai region of Nepal, in particular east of the Narayani Zone. It is an offshoot of the Indo-Aryan languages, which are part of the Indo-Iranian, a branch of the Indo-European languages. Linguists consider Maithili to be an Eastern Indic language, and thus a different language from Hindi, which is Central Indic in origin. According to the 2001 census in India, 12,179,122 people speak Maithili, but various organizations have strongly argued that the actual number of Maithili speakers is much higher than the official data suggests. SIL estimates it to be more than 35 Million. In 2003, Maithili was included in the Eighth Schedule of the Indian Constitution, which now allows the language to be used in education, government, and other official contexts. Maithili has a very rich literary and cultural heritage. Maithili was traditionally written in the Maithili script (also known by the names Tirhuta and Mithilakshar) and Kaithi script. Nowadays, Devanagari script is most commonly used. An effort is underway to preserve the Maithili script and to develop it for use in digital media by encoding the script in the Unicode standard, for which proposals have been submitted. Dialects > In the 19th century, linguistic scholars considered Maithili as a dialect of Bengali or Hindi and grouped it with other languages spoken in Bihar. Hoernlé compared it with Gaudian languages. Grierson recognized it as distinct language and published the first grammar in 1881. Central Maithili > Central Maithili is the standard form, in which books are written. Central Maithili is spoken in the districts of Darbhanga division, Kosi Division. Khortha > Khortha (Khotta) is a dialect of Maithili spoken in Jharkhand, mainly in 13 districts of two commissioneries Vajjka > poken in the Samastipur, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur District, Vaishali, East Champaran and West Champaran districts of Bihar and about eight hundred thousand people in the adjacent regions of Nepal. Tharuwat > Tharuwat is spoken exclusively in Nepal. Jolaha > Jolaha Maithili is not a dialect but a variety spoken by Muslims of Mithila. It has no specific region.
